There are many different variations of Poker. For example, if two players have exactly the same hands, the winner of the hand is determined by the ranking of the next card. Three-Card Monte and Spit-in-the-Ocean are variations of Poker with fewer cards. All variants are described later in this chapter. For larger numbers of players, two separate games are organized. When playing Poker, each player may set a pot limit for each game. This limit is the maximum number of chips each player may bet at one time. For example, if each player has a jack, that player will be the first to deal the cards. Usually, the player with the highest hand wins the pot. Once the game is completed, the dealer must offer the shuffled pack to the player who was cut. The player with the highest hand is referred to as the dealer.
